This icon was created to commemorate the 60th anniversary of the assassination of President John F. Kennedy.

The design was inspired by the floral wreaths placed in Dealey Plaza by visitors to Dallas in the days following the assassination. Six red roses, representing six decades, evoke memories of Jacqueline Kennedy’s bouquet of red roses that she was given when the Kennedys arrived at Dallas Love Field that day.

For the 60th anniversary of the assassination, we created a "JFK was here" banner campaign along the November 1963 presidential motorcade route through downtown Dallas, featuring historic images from the locations along the route.

In Dealey Plaza, near the assassination site, we used the wreath graphic in place of photos, and included a Kennedy quote.

This campaign was controversial in Dallas, where residents don't always like to remember the assassination. In a news interview about the campaign, Jeffrey Engel, director of the Center for Presidential History at Southern Methodist University, said "I think what the Sixth Floor Museum did there is brilliant. Finding a different way to think about the history that they're there to represent, to think about the history of Dallas."

I was tasked with creating the branding, character design, and icons for Denton’s first annual Flying Sausage Fest, an Oktoberfest-style celebration in Texas’ favorite college town.

I created this fun German flying sausage character to convey the family-friendly atmosphere of the festival.

Collaborating with the Collections and Education teams at the Museum, I created the entire visual identity, floorplan, graphics, and elevations for this special exhibition.

This was a wild job, with only about three months from my initial sketches to the exhibit opening .

This exhibition focused on President Kennedy's trip to Texas in November 1963 before the assassination in Dallas, so I started with a 1963 map of Texas, using that as inspiration for a color palette and font choices.

I was asked to create a mascot for MBS Seed based on the owner's very specific vision for this character. We ended up with the very friendly Wheatie. What a fun project this was!

The checkered background is inspired by studio soundproofing foam, with the intials ZM rendered like soundwaves.

T-shirts were the focus, but other swag included pint glasses, mugs, and koozies.
